I fell in love with this family and their Mediterranean-inspired wines the first time my son Noah and I sat with them in 2007 at the long wooden table inside their bright tasting room in the Tuscany-like hills outside Jerusalem. Brothers Golan and Gilad Flam established this highly regarded boutique winery with a Mediterranean personality in 1998. Golan Flam, the winemaker, trained in Italy and brings a Mediterranean inspiration to the wines he makes at his state-of-the-art winery situated in the Judean Hills. You'll meet no more professional a winemaker committed to putting and keeping Israel on the international winemaking map. He produces more than 100,000 bottles annually now, and with the 2010 vointage have become "kosher". The son of a leading Israeli winemaker, Golan attends to every detail in the winemaking process. We have acquired for you his amazing red blend Flam Classico, his mouth-watering, crisp Sauvignon Blanc-Chardonnay, along with his Cab Reserve now known as one of the best Cabs in the entire region and a Syrah that will delight you (many people are saying that Syrah/Shiraz is the grape to watch in Israel today!).
