PELTER
Located on Kibbutz Merom Golan in the Golan Heights of
northern Israel, this family-run winery was established by Australian-trained winemaker Tal Pelter in 2005. They now produce nearly 100,000 bottles, all with a freshness and brightness that comes from Tal's time in Western Australia.

This is a true family business - Tal's brother, Nir, and father, Sam, join him to build the Pelter brand in Israel and internationally. All stages of wine production are done by members of the Pelter family. Tal's hands-on approach to every aspect of the vineyard management and winemaking allow him to confidently place his family's name on every bottle.
Pelter grapes are sourced from 3 locations: in the northern Golan, the mountains of the Galilee, and the lush Jerusalem Hills.
Vitality, Quality, and Family characterize their approach to
winemaking and wine marketing.
NO ONE denies this winery is the fastest-rising up-and-coming Israeli winery, bringing wine lovers fresh, complex yet accessible wines that all go great with food. In fact, Israeli food and wine critic Daniel Rogov just named them both the #1 fastest-rising winery in all of Israel, and also among the Top 10 wineries in Israel altogether!
The Pelter Trio 2008 recently earned a Silver Medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition while the Pelter Trio 2007 earned a Double Gold at the Finger Lakes Wine Competition in New York.
