The IWD story begins at the intersection of my beliefs and passions:

  • When people get excited about the Israeli wine scene, they’ll experience the real Israel. Part of our mission is helping to broaden people's understanding of what Israel is all about.
  • A small handful of large commercial Israeli wineries account for 80% of the wine exported to the US. There is a “long tail” of untried great Israeli wine.
  • Most wines taste the same. We want to bring you small-quantity, high-quality wines you’ve never heard of. Wines with a STORY!

Our Mission is to introduce Americans to great wines and winemakers from Israel.
