This wine was made from 60% Shiraz and 40% Granache grapes. It is rich in anise, black pepper, chocolate and orange peel flavors.
The fresh young Granache lends an interesting edge to the full-bodied Shiraz, resulting in a medium-bodied blend with flavors of citrus flavors (Granache) and black pepper (Shiraz).
The grapes were harvested manually in vineyards in the northern Golan Heights.
The wine aged for 14 months in used French oak barrels to preserve the fruit’s natural flavors.
